Opened in February 2014 by the renowned artist Makiwa Mutomba, the Makiwa Galleries group consists of 4 galleries across South Africa, and has now earned a reputation as a major player on the South African Art scene. Our gallery artists are carefully handpicked and well established artists in their own right,locally and internationally. The Hermanus, Franschhoek and Umhlanga Rocks galleries present the works of a few established, Top Selling Artists. The Pretoria gallery has a more diverse mix of emerging and established artists.
